Create Email templates and Sends using User records - for internal comms and marketing Merged

We are trying to email our internal users using click dimensions – we want to be able to use the Click D email templates and the web content forms for internal comms as they give us so much flexibility in design and of course the great tracking facilities.

We are able to do what we want to do in our Dev system by adding the users as contacts.

However, in our live system, our users are only set up with user records (we can’t add the users as contacts as this then adds them in the set regarding fields on Matters where they shouldn’t be added).


Our issue then lies in the fact that ClickD won’t allow us to email to user records only contact records.

I'm told by Support:

You are correct, we cannot send emails to CRM User records and can only send to Contact, Leads, Accounts. I'd recommend submitting a feature request.
