When a Lead is qualified, the ClickDimensions plugin Create of Opportunity (screenshot attached) updates the score of contacts related to the lead. For example, if the Parent Account for Lead field is populated and the user attempts to qualify the lead, all of the contacts at the account will have their Total Score updated.
If one of these contacts at the account violates a duplicate detection rule, then an error occurs because the plugin is unable to successfully update the contacts' total score. This error does not occur with the loss of opportunity plugin.
When this plugin is set to run asynchronously, rather than synchronously, this error does not occur and the score is successfully updated. However, this plugin has to be manually set to run asynchronously after each click dimensions update/deployment.
If this plugin was set to run asynchronously, then users would not encounter a lead qualification error. Could this plugin (screenshot attached) be set to be asynchronous? It seems like ClickDimension support has recommended setting this plugin to run asynchronously to resolve other lead qualification issues. Or, could ClickDimensions resolve this bug affecting the Create of Opportunity plugin (and not affecting the Loss of Opportunity plugin) that is preventing contacts that violate duplicate detection rules from being updated? Thank you for your help.
