Allow for logic in the subject line

The post here http://blog.clickdimensions.com/2016/03/advanced-dynamic-content-if-statements.html shows you how to make a multilingual mail. It introduces an interesting problem, though: you can only enter the subject line for an email in 1 language, because no logic is allowed in the subject line. That would be a weird multilingual email.

An alternative is to create multiple templates, email sends and marketing lists to make sure that everyone receives the correct email. This will become messy, though. For our organization an extra level of complexity is introduced, because we don't only communicate in 3 different languages (Dutch, German, English), but also to 2 different target groups (interested in BSc or MSc programmes). And these all need different subject lines.

A better solution would be to allow the ability to implement logic in the subject line. Either with Freemarker, or by allowing us to create a variable that shows a certain text depending a the conditions you define. So, the variable {{subject line}} could contain several texts which will show depending on which condition is met by the Contact receiving the email.

Definitely this is something what is needed. We need conditional subject lines based on the data fields on CRM. We're encountering the same issue when subject lines can't be determined base on the field values on the CRM. This functionality is really a basic one and available on any other ESPs I have worked with.

This does not only apply in above scenario for multilingual emails but also for emails in the same language. What about if you want to rephrase it based on the person's title or address country. We really need this functionality.
