From email on Email Send as a picklist / option set

We have 2x email send domains (2 brands). On an Email Send Record the field From Email cdi.fromemail. I want to help users in marketing to select from a picklist / 2 option set from email addresses we have available in your solution. Problem is the field is locked and we are not able to use basic Dynamics customisation to customize the field. Do you know of a workaround to achieve From email picklist or do we need a raise a feature request.
