I fully agree with Yorick.
You should allow users to set list view as default.
Is there a release date for this?
This is indeed very annoying. It's nice that we can now switch views, but it should definitely be possible to set the list view as default. There's literally 0 use for the thumbnail view for me; it's messy and I get too little information at a glance.
Hi,
As part of release 12.2, we've added the possibility to toggle between Thumbnails and List view by clicking on new icons to easily search your templates. You also have a new system view called 'My Email Templates', you can right-click on a thumbnail to open the record in a new window/tab, you can see what is the editor type used for each Email Template without having to click on them and sort them.

This is a really frustrating change as every user working across multiple templates has extra clicks every time they're trying to navigate around different templates. Please allow us to set the default view type for this entity list.
The ability to set the email template view default to "read only grid" is highly needed! Please change this as soon as possible.
