Ability to Control Nurture as Lead Changes to Opportunity

Right now nurturing pauses when a lead is converted. Almost 50% of our leads come in and quickly qualified and converted to opportunities. Nurturing stops once converted. I'd like the ability for nurturing to continue on even after it's converted. Otherwise 50% of our potential customers will not get nurturing messages. Setting up a separate set of new nurturing messages for Opportunities is way too time consuming to manage (doubling the number of nurtures we need).
