We have been using ClickDimensions for a while now and and are struggling a bit with the logic around Subscription Lists. In our experience with other systems in the past a Subscription List was defining the type of email you were sending and not the people you were sending it to. For example Subscription list A is for "Newsletters" and list B is for "Service Announcements".
In ClickDimensions our understanding is each Subscription list contains marketing lists and a marketing list cannot be used by more than one Subscription list. This poses a problem to us as we have quite a few subscription lists and even more marketing lists. Marketing lists, in our world, define a group of people to market to. For example "Contacts with a specific job title" or "Leads with more than 50 employees". By not being able to add the same marketing list to more than one subscription list this will force us to recreate each marketing list X number of times for every Subscription list we want to include them on. This seems like a much more labor intensive way than we are used to managing subscriptions. I might be missing something but it seems it would make more sense for a subscription to be tied to an individual as opposed to a marketing list as a whole. Please help make this process work more logically.
