As it is now, if you want to work with pre-filled form fields on a survey form, then you have to create your survey with the old code editor type to be able to add javascript, CSS etc., as described on your blog:
http://blog.clickdimensions.com/pre-fill-forms-from-links-or-webpages/
http://blog.clickdimensions.com/pre-fill-forms-from-links-or-webpages-part-2-using-hidden-fields/
http://blog.clickdimensions.com/pre-filling-forms-using-iframes/
But if you rather would like to use all the new nice features in the online editor when building your surveys, you also give up the option to add javascript etc. to your survey, as the code editor does not exist in the new online Survey Designer.
Incidentally, it seems that the old code editor type can no longer be used (or at least surveys created by using that cannot be edited) from June 2021.
So, are there any plans for the new Survey Designer, any time soon, to allow us again to add our own code, javascript, CSS, HTML etc.?
Thanx,
//Martin
Currently the Surveys (Classic) has the option to pass a variable with the survey URL to populate the Case ID field. We need this functionality in Online Surveys in order to relate surveys to cases for Satisfaction scoring.
Please include Code Editor option in the Online survey if the old designer is going to be discontinued.
