Re Subscribe same user

If a subscriber unsubscribes through the global unsubscribe link, an unsubscribe record will be created. If this was done in error and the same user attempts to re subscribe they will NOT be re subscribed as the unsubscribe record will persist. Advice from support is to 'manually delete' the unsubscribe record. This is clearly impractical if every new subscribe needs to be checked.
