Conditional logic in Campaign Automation

The ability to have a campaign check rules is a mandatory for true automation. for instance I have a trigger for when a field is changed, but there is no ability to say- if changed to "yes", perhaps the field indicates which campaign trail the user should take, without any filtering criteria its impossible to fully automate campaign automations.
