Currently the 'Added to List' trigger, when used as an Internal Trigger, only works if the recipient was added to the list during the same automation flow.
Essentially it doesn't check "Is this person in this list" but instead checks "Has this person been previously added to this list in this specific automation"
This limitation was discovered after logging a support ticket and support then raising a ticket with the product team to investigate further as they also believed it was not working as expected. However it was deemed to be 'working as expected'. You can see this here https://support.clickdimensions.com/hc/en-us/articles/26423783296269-Added-To-List-Trigger-Sending-Participants-Already-In-Marketing-List-Through-Negative-Path
I propose that by simply changing the logic on this Internal trigger to actually check "Is this person in the Marketing List' that this trigger would be then exponentially more useful. If it was updated in this way, it would still work for the current logic of 'have they been added in this automation' but also allow for decision steps which trigger across multiple automations running simultaneously to function if required.
Hope that is all clear and thanks in advance for your votes!
