"Contains data" functions on date fields

In the Campaign Automation builder decision node screen, when applying a clause regarding a date field in the lead record, we would like to use a "contains data"/"does not contain data" type of criteria. The reason is, with a date field, there are always three options: if the condition is respected (e.g. before date x), if the condition is not respected (e.g. after date x) or null (e.g. no date at all). This makes it very difficult to branch the decision on the date information when this is the primary variable we are looking at.
