API to enable tracking where JavaScript can not be used. E.g. iOS, Android and WP applications

Already presented this idea to Matt, but decided to post it here also, hoping that others would support this feature as well.

The current programmatic form capture model has restrictions, such as that you need to add the tracking script to a website which the tracked user needs to visit in order for us to have the cuvid/cd_visitorkey value that we use in the HTTP request to post data to ClickDimensions.

What I hope is that we would have an API we could use to query for a new id for our user that we want to track. As we would not need javascript anymore, we could use this id to post data with server side code to ClickDimensions regarding events that we track in e.g. mobile environments, for example usage of an iOS application.

Also, I hope that the form capture feature would be enhanced so that you could select "programmatic" form capture mode where you would not define http redirect for success / failure, but instead get response codes that we can more easily monitor for error situations using server side code. E.g. something JSON / XML based. Also, in order to ease debugging, it would be really useful to see the raw http request content somewhere (that was received by the form capture interface).

How about implementing this for the next release? :-)
