Must be a different URL for the CRM Web Api and redirect the user in the browser.

We have a serious problem caused by our unusual MS CRM publishing via Azure MyApps. It made us use additional Internal address (https://internal.newton.batgen.com) for ClickDimensions to connect to our MS CRM.

On the other hand this address is also used to open some MS CRM windows redirected from CD, e. g. Email Send or Quick Send. As our Call Center is an external company, it’s users are unable to access this Internal address.

Therefore Call Center users are unable to access Email Send and Quick Send.

 

Suggested solution is to create an additional config field like “User URL” for user connection by browser and use this URL for UI addresses like mentioned Email Send, Quick Send &etc.
