Form Capture to create posted-preference/opt-in Merged

Unlike subscription pages or forms built using the form builder, I was surprised to learn that Form Capture forms do not update the posted preferences or opt-in submissions. We are using form capture throughout our website and every submission is currently needing to be opted in manually as form capture does not automatically do this. It seems strange to me, that form capture is missing this essential compliancy element, as it exists for the other form types offered by ClickDimensions. Hopefully this is not too complicated to fix because it does create the posted form, just does not appear connected to a subsription preference despite using subscription fields.
