Google Tag Manager is a free tool by Google: http://www.google.com/tagmanager/
Explanation from Google: "Google Tag Manager lets you add and update your website tags, easily and for free, whenever you want, without bugging the IT folks. It gives marketers greater flexibility, and lets webmasters relax and focus on other important tasks."
It helps non IT people to manage tracking scripts externally on a platform, without accessing the website files and changing the tracking scripts in the code everytime. They already support Google Analytics, Adwords, remarketing and several non-Google tracking scripts.
The current ClickDimensions tracking script doesn't work with GTM, mainly because it's hosted externally, and CD is unable to capture the website data. I'm sure that with adding the correct variables that are available in GTM, a compatible template for a CD tracking script can be developed.
