Google Tag Manager gives huge opportunities for marketers. As it has gained wide traction, I would hope that Click Dimensions would follow and make the tracking scripts compatible with the system.
In order to use Google Tag Manager the tracking scripts need to be more flexible.
For example the Tag Manager places the scripts immediately after the body tag. With Click Dimensions the tracking code have to be placed to the bottom of the body tag, in order to use form capturing and other more advanced Click Dimensions features.
The optional scripts that Click Dimensions allows have to be fired before the basic tracking script, this makes it impossible to use Tag Manager features like timers. It starts to be common to fire certain tags for example after user has read the page for 20 seconds. This is not currently possible with Click Dimensions tags.
