Make Image Blocking Preview Smaller Thumbnail in Outlook so that email recipient can see text content readily

Rather than make the image placeholders for images that haven't been downloaded in Outlook the same size as the actual image, make them much smaller, and less cumbersome and more manageable so that the email recipient can see the text content of the email and decide whether or not they want to download images to get the full effect of the email.

Recipients with busy schedules often don't take the time to download images, and if you can make the image placeholders smaller, you can possibly hook their attention with the text of the email while still keeping a sensible, aesthetic flow to your email send.

    totally agree!!

I have figured out (I think) how to do this manually. but it's tedious to do this on every email when I'm not familiar with HTML in the first place.

This is a major issue for our client and when the image is long and thin it takes up a massive amout of space pushing all text off the preview window. Either make the image space small or better still reserve the space based on the actual image size. From review it looks like the width is correct but the height is not (always previews as a square before download).
