Confirmation text on form inside the form iframe

When embedding a web content form on a landing page as a widget/iframe, the person that submits the form, is redirected to a hole new page, showing the confirmation text.
It would make much more sense on a UX perspective, that the confirmation text is shown on the page inside the iframe/widget. I believe this is a standard feature on any form management system.
If I wanted a redirect I would use that function and not the confirmation text.
