Sending an email campaign at two different scheduled times to a Marketing list(s)

One area of split testing/statistics that came up in an internal meeting recently was being able to determine the best time to engage with our Contacts based on the time the email was sent. We are interested in finding out what is the best time to send an email based on the open rate metric.

This doesn't quite fit as an A/B test, as the entire Marketing list would get the same email still, but the main idea is to be able to automatically split the Leads/Contacts within the Marketing list to receive a scheduled email at two different pre-determined times, this could be AM/PM or even different days i.e. Thursday or Saturday.

ClickDimensions would then create two different email send records based on the two different sent times, providing the usual statistics as an email send currently does, which then we could make a informed decision to answer the original question based on the stats provided.

The scheduled send feature would allow us to do this, but currently this means manually segmenting a Marketing List and generating two different scheduled Email Send records. There are also limitations to the manual process when the Marketing List is Dynamic or an email send have multiple Marketing lists attached.

I guess this is an advanced scheduling based feature request.

Thanks!
