Cancelling email sends

When I cancel a scheduled email email send, all I'm doing is cancelling the workflow. However, the email send still stays in a scheduled state, so looks to the user as if it is still going to be issued on the scheduled date and time. The email send is inactive and there's no way to reactivate an email send. There is no 'Cancelled' status reason for the email send. There should be functionality to cancel a scheduled email send that sets it to status reason of cancelled and a view of cancelled email sends should exist.
