Form Captures for Newsletter sign-ups with Subscription List opt-in method

I would like to be able to use Form Captures to do Newsletter sign-ups while having the new Subscription List opt-in method enabled.

    This new functionality was released as part of ClickDimensions Version 12.9.0 in September.

    This request is nearly 2 years old, why isn't it possible already ??

    This is such a basic feature, please enable subscription management via form captures.

    This is very much needed - especially since the CD forms are so difficult to style.
