True global styles for D&D 2.0 editor

Please make it possible to set global styles globally, across templates.

I see only one proper way of doing this:

  • Create a 'master template' on which other templates are based ('child templates').
  • Any changes in styles and layout on the master template will carry over to its child templates.
  • The master template would need to have a lock option for the styles/settings, blocks and sections to disable editing of these items in child templates.
  • Master templates would need a new security role for allowing creation and editing of these templates, while child templates could fall under the current roles.

This way, it would be possible to create multiple master templates, each serving their own purpose (for example e-mails to different customer types or transactional vs. commercial emails) that still have global stylings for their 'children'.

One other addition would be 'necessary': true global styles. By this I mean that it should be possible to set styles in the ClickDimensions settings and those would become defaults (optionally locked so they can't be edited per template). Think about default colours and fonts for example.
