Nurture program activated when contact added to static marketing list through workflow

We were looking at how we could automate the start of a Nurture Program. As you know, Nurture Programs can only be started through the ribbon or by adding a record to a static marketing list.

I found custom activity (plugin) that allows for�a contact to be added to�a static marketing list. I was hoping this would trigger the Nurture Program, but sadly it didn't.

So clearly the activation of Nurture Programs is based on a client-side operation. Would be great for Click Dimensions to work on a server side activation method.
