Hi all,
These editors are a great start, but unfortunately fall short when trying to apply branding and styles appropriate for your organisation.
One of the issues we've hit is the inability to include a default background image in the Drag and Drop editor...you can define a colour, but it seems like such a simple thing to be able to pick a default background image - with the understanding that this may get stripped out by some mail providers.
Additionally, being able to control the styles available to users, some of which are mandated by internal style guides, is also required. Having staff creating their own look and feel may damage the overall brand reputation.
These changes will make the process of creating e-communications a lot easier and will limit staff needing to learn html (and staff needing to test every email a lot more).
Without this feature being part of the drop and drag editor it will dramatically limit our ability to be "world leading” or showing “technology innovation” with template design or let staff have any flexibility with content.
