Can there be a way to send a test email (when in an EMAIL SEND), that draws the information and shows the personalization codes as their active information?
Here is our situation:
The Marketing Department creates the email templates for our employees. Our employees go in and create a NEW email send. In that record they can edit the template. We've added personalization codes in the email templates to insert the owner contact information (Name, Title, Phone, URL). The issue is that our employees are never able to see that their information actually autofills. Even if we convince them it will work (if they own their contacts), they are unsure. It would be nice if, whomever is logged in, that the personalization codes would show their info when they run a test.
Otherwise, we have to teach each employee how to create a new contact with a test email address such as their personal email (because if we use our domain it shows up at JUNK), then add that contact to a test marketing list, and then use that to send an email send. But then once you send the email send, your draft mode is gone. You then have to go to Sent Email Sends, and make a copy and start again.
We are trying to make this as easy as possible for our Employees.
Main Question - Can there be a way to send a test and see the personalization codes as active?
