A wait timer based on a date field in a lead/contact record. The ability to offset the timer by X number of days would be nice as well. Use case: if we have products in CRM that are assigned to contacts that have an expiration date associated with them it would be nice to be able to use campaign automation to automate notification emails based on this date that will obviously differ per contact.
Hi Mary, I don't think Dynamic Segments will address this use case. I want a wait step as described in my post below. If you think it can be achieved with the Dynamic Segments please let me know.
@Chris Miller - Yes it will be, you can reach out to your CSM or raise a Support ticket to get the feature enabled
@Mary O'Sullivan Is this going to be available for OnPremise CRM folks?
Hi Mark,
We’ve added the ability to create a Dynamic Segment in our Release Version 2023.04. You will find the step by step instructions on how to create a Segment here, and how to use the Added to Segment within Campaign Automation here. You now have the ability to create a Segment (Dynamic List) based custom field for a Lead or Contact, this new feature should address this use case.
Regards,
ClickDimensions Product Team
We would like to build a generic campaign automation where we use a date field on a Lead or Contact as described above. Since the wait step is a fixed date we are constantly cloning automations and updating the wait date where if this feature existed we could have just one "always on" automation.
