Highlight / warn of email render errors

In trying to build up our first usable templates, which include freemarker scripts, could not figure out why emails weren't being delivered.  Turns out to be render errors (found through email events list).  It would be helpful if the sent send records list highlighted incorrect renderings and/or signalled an error to the sender.  Also, there is no parse information on the render error event so no way of telling what code (HTML or Freemarker) caused the fault.  At very least, a line number within the template that caused the error is needed.
