Display the number of email recipients in the email send editor

When creating an email send I can add multiple marketing lists but I can't actually see the number of recipients that will be receiving the email. For example, if I am sending to 3 marketing lists, each of which contains some of the same recipients, it'd be great to see how many unique recipients will be receiving this email. It'd be even better if it was able to take into account subscription preference. As of now, the only time I see the number of recipients is when I'm actually confirming the email send. This doesn't allow much opportunity for strategic decisions as it is only available once the email is ready to send.

I see this becoming even more important as CD introduces suppression lists. If I'm sending to 3 marketing lists and excluding another list, I will want to see the number of people who will get the email before I send it. This allows for much more strategic email campaigns.

This is a feature that I used a lot in my previous CRM and it is greatly missed now.

Agree totally, this should even be a basic function when viewing a marketing list (on the Summary tab). You have no idea how many are on a list - even if you go to Members tab, you only get the number at the bottom, and most of ours are "more than 5,000" so we still have no idea. Surely a basic count function could be on the marketing lists? Even an excel spreadsheet can do that!
