Merge fields of related records (1:N) from Contact to e-mail template Merged

A question that keeps returning from our customers is the ability to merge fields in an e-mail template from related records to (ie.) Contact (1:N). The two methods described by ClickDimensions :

1, Connection method:
http://blog.clickdimensions.com/2011/10/merge-any-custom-or-standard-entity-data-into-clickdimensions-emails.html

2, Copying fields from related entity to Contact:
http://blog.clickdimensions.com/2015/06/send-1n-data-in-an-email-using-clickdimensions-and-crm-workflows.html

In my opinion, the 'Connection method' is the one that gets closest to a workable solution. Shortcomings are:
- the 'connection content' is the same for all recipients in the e-mail.
A workaround for this would be to create e-mail sends in advance and relate the proper connections for each set of recipients. This is time consuming and requires to much 'handy work' when working with many e-mail sends and/or sets of recipients.

- relating connections cant be automated
If the only requirement would be to send an e-mail to one recipient (from the Contact form -> ClickDimensions Quick Send) you would need a method to automatically relate the proper connections to the e-mail send. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment.

The one recipient example would already be a big improvement!
