Campaign Automation - Populate records for Contacts when a Lead is Qualified

Please see request (#95883)

If a Lead is participating in a Campaign Automation (CA), and that Lead is Qualified to a Contact, the Contact is not associated to any CA actions.

Currently, CA actions - Email Sends, Sent Emails, Forms Fills, etc. - continue to be associated with the Closed-Qualified Lead ... this is okay, and doesn't create any issues. The CA references only the Lead, and ignores the Contact.

When a Lead is qualified to a Contact, the Lead is marked Closed-Qualified, read-only, and not searchable. CRM Lookups for the name or email will find the Active Contact, not the Closed-Qualified Lead.

AFTER Qualification, CDi records (in general, not connected to the CA) associate to the Active Contact.  CA-related records are an exception, they are ONLY associated to Closed-Qualified Lead.

If ONLY associated with the Closed-Qualified Lead, they go "missing" for anyone who only looks at the Active Contact.

I propose that the CA-related records should check for, and populate, the related Contact field in any CDi records created.

Implementation?  Several options, your call.
- Checking status of a participating Lead, for Status Reason Qualified, Status Closed (Status Closed could be DisQualified... or other values. )

- Use email address to find an active Lead or Contact ... (may need logic for handling duplicate emails)

- In the CDi process for CRM Qualify Lead, detect CAs where the Lead is a participant, and revise/add the association to the new Contact for that participant  ...

In all, it's probably good and resilient that, where applicable, the CA have both the Lead & Contact associations for all participants, and populate both into any records it triggers.
