The currently available Campaign Automation participant information is limited, and you cannot sort it, or export if from the CA participants tab, in order to do extended analysis, or validation of the data for each participant.
Within CRM, as part of "Campaign Automation Related Records", having drill-downs to participating Contacts and Leads, as an Associated View for the CA, seems a good way to address this... Much like the existing functionality for Sent Emails and Email Sends.

Specifically, the Participant Lead/Contact Related Records should enable easy verification of status within the CA, INDEPENDENT of other actions initiated by the CA, ie. Email Sends, Form Fills, etc.
