"Group" contacts

We have a customer portal and when customers register on that portal it creates a contact record: first name, last name, email address. This means our customers will likely have their "true" contact records that we interact with and a duplicate with the same email address for Portal Access.

The "web portal users" are separated by having a "Class" of "Remittance" and a "Type" of "Agent". These are the only contact records with those fields populated that way.

These portal contact records are "sensitive" and updates to them could cause our users to lose access to the Customer Portal.

If there was a way to point Click Dimensions towards contact records where "class does not equal remittance" and "type does not equal agent" we would be able to use CD functianlity as far as contact records do.

Currently we are limited as we don't want "interactions" traced to "portal contacts".
