1. Why is it useful? The current ClickDimensions quick send template allows sales reps to send pre-approved emails from within their CRM system, streamlining their workflow. However, it does not log an activity after the email is sent, which forces sales reps to manually track their interactions with leads. Automating this step will save time, reduce errors, and provide a clearer, more complete view of engagement history directly within the CRM.
2. Who would benefit from it? Sales reps would benefit by having a more efficient workflow, as they would no longer need to manually log each sent email as an activity. This enhancement also helps sales managers and teams keep track of interactions with leads, making it easier to monitor recent activities, better plan follow-ups, and improve communication tracking overall. Marketing teams would also gain better insights into the effectiveness of campaigns by seeing how quickly sales reps follow up on sent emails.
3. How should it work? When a sales rep uses the quick send template in CRM, the system should automatically log an activity under the relevant lead or contact once the email is sent. The logged activity should include details like the date, time, and subject of the email. Ideally, this feature would be configurable, allowing users to select whether activities should be created for each quick send or for specific templates only. This should be integrated seamlessly into the existing CRM without requiring the user to take any additional steps.
