Currently, if a contact/lead clicks a link in an e-mail they are awarded 5 points per click based on our scoring system. Our problem has been that a contact will click the same link more than once, sometimes over 5 times. This has inflated our scores some and doesn't truly hone in on interest, since we've noticed (based on sales follow up) that our audience isn't entirely tech friendly. We'd like a way to further customize the scoring rules to accommodate for this type of recipient behavior. I don't see any options under the email event entity that allow "type" equals click to include the amount of times. Maybe, this is a feature request to enable to the ability to hone in on individual clicks and manage how each click is scored.
We were thinking that if we could further the customization of scoring rules, it would be great to also drill down to the individual engagement level, even extended to engagement events such as page views. While we can certainly set-up a workflow to hone in on and score specific pages, building it into the scoring system would be helpful as well.
