Associate posted records to all contacts and leads with same email address in parallel

Today a posted record, e.g. submitted web form gets associated to a random matched record (lead or contact) which matches with the submited email address. As in our System the Contact as well as any associated lead of the contact does have the same email address, the posted records are spread over those existing records with the same email address. It would be great if we can easer choose to always link the contact or lead to a posted record or ideally if it always associates all existing records with the same email address to the posted records. Especially in case of e.g. surveys or webforms it is the rist, that it got associated to any lead of the contact and it is not visible on the contact itself, this makes it also difficult for campaign automations, as automations get stuck in case the wrong record got associated by the system. In real live it is not possible to have an email address only associated to one record, as you will always have a contact and all the associated leads of the contact with the same email address.

Thanks Carter, but that won't help much, as basically all Contacts with the same shared email address should have same interaction tracking history.

Martin, unsure if this is helpful for not, but our organization has a similar issue with shared email addresses. From what we learned, when contacts or leads share an email addresses, ClickDimensions will select the first record found. That 'first' record is based on the matched records sorted by system GUID alphabetically.
